BCC2020 Galaxy Fellowship applications are open
And they are due soon: July 5
BCC2020 brings together the Galaxy Community Conference and the Bioinformatics Open Source Conference (BOSC) into a single event featuring training, a meeting, and a CollaborationFest. Events run from July 17 through July 25, and will be held in both the eastern and western hemispheres. It's a great opportunity to discuss your research with others working in and facing similar challenges in data-intensive life science research. But it is only an opportunity if you able to participate.
The Galaxy Community Fund is offering fellowships to GAlaxy Community members who
- Are students, post-docs, and other non-profit / academic / government researchers and instructors from lower, lower-middle and upper-middle income countries as defined by the World Bank
- Are Galaxy Community members: You need to be using, deploying, teaching with, wrapping tools for, or in some other way interacting with Galaxy to apply.
- BCC2020 registration fees are preventing you from participating
Fellowships cover full registration for any BCC2020 events you attend
If this describes you then please fill out the application by July 5.
