- Connect all the people using or working on Galaxy in the UK
- Help each other through the dedicated communication channels
- Share news, events and resources relevant to the UK Galaxy Community
- Organise trainings, workshops, hackathons, and outreach events
- Coordinate with national digital infrastructures like BioFAIR
- Identify community needs and bring them to the attention of the Galaxy Community Board
