The University of Freiburg’s first Digital Humanities Day

Digital Humanities (DH) are becoming increasingly important in scientific practice. But where can researchers start - where can students learn more about DH, and what resources exist at the University of Freiburg? The DH lab at the University of Freiburg is organising the university’s first DH Day on November 24 to answer those questions and give researchers and students better insights into DH. We from the European Galaxy Team are glad to join!

Meet Galaxy at the DH Day

Galaxy will feature as one of the university’s DH services. We will host a booth (12:00-15:00) to introduce the analysis platform Galaxy, its DH-specific features, and the EU project AI4Social+, in which Galaxy will support AI readiness in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
