2022 Galaxy Community Conference (GCC2022)
July 17-23, 2022
University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
#UseGalaxy2022
The 2022 Galaxy Community Conference (GCC2022) will bring together hundreds of researchers, trainers, tool developers, software engineers, and computational infrastructure providers, all addressing common challenges in data intensive science using the Galaxy data integration and analysis platform.
This annual gathering of the Galaxy community includes training, talks, posters, demos, Birds of a Feather meetups, and many other opportunities for collaboration and networking. There is no better event to share your work and learn form others working in Galaxy-related data-intensive science.
Bird of a Feather (BoF) sessions provide opportunities to gather and discuss special topics of interest. BoF's take place every day of the main meeting. Check out the BoF schedule for the this year's topics.
Interested in how informatics and AI can be integrated into molecular and clinical information to improve clinical decision making? Come hear the keynote speakers, Hongfang Liu on the opening day and Chris Tignanelli on the closing day.
Sponsors are a key part of GCC2022 and are potential partners in participant success. Is your organization interested in playing a prominent role in the first in-person gathering of the Galaxy community since 2019? Please see the Sponsorships page for details.
COVID-19 is (still) very much around us and to help each other have a safe event, GCC2022 has adopted a COVID-19 policy. Take a look at the details but the gist of it is that face masks are required while indoors. Please keep that in mind at all times during the event. Also, we ask to test daily using the provided tests.
Online registration is now closed, but if you walk up to the registration desk, we'll still be able to register you.
There is also a Webinar mode registration option for limited virtual attendance; if you'd like to attend, please email Jenn Vessio for details.
